Anyone mentioned in a report has the right to share their side. If their response comes later, we update the article with the date and time.
5. Correct or Remove Errors
If any part of a report is proven wrong, we edit or remove it. If a whole article is incorrect, we delete it entirely.
6. Respect Copyright
We use text, photos, videos, and trademarks only with permission and proper credit. Any content violating copyright laws is removed.
7. Responsible Crime Reporting
We avoid sensationalism and respect the presumption of innocence. Reports are factual and not based on speculation.
8. Handling Sensitive Stories
We take extra care when reporting on sexual crimes, minors, domestic issues, or communal topics. Identities of victims, especially minors, are never revealed. Reporting should promote peace and avoid harm.
9. Grievance Redressal
We respond within 36 hours and resolve issues within one month, following the IT Act’s safe harbor rules.
10. Staff Training
Our team is regularly trained on media laws, ethical reporting, privacy rules, and proper court reporting.
11. Public Trust
We protect editorial independence, ensure transparency, correct mistakes responsibly, and respect people’s dignity and privacy.
