2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Launched: See What’s New

The street-focused roadster 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been launched today in India. The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 was first officially introduced in 2024 and has now received its first update since launch. Introductory prices start at ₹2,49,194 (ex-showroom). Bookings are now open, and Deliveries will begin on March 31, 2026.

What’s New in This Bike?

Apex Variant

The key highlight is the newly introduced base variant called Apex. The Apex is more focused on the rider, making it more aggressive and sportier, thanks to its 56 mm lower seat height and 57 mm further-positioned handlebars.

The Apex is available in three new colors: Red, Green, and Black.

Other key highlights include Bullet 350-inspired LED headlamps, new aluminium handlebars, and new 17-inch Vredestein Centuro ST tyres.

There is a removable rear seat cowl and a new front cowl, giving it a sleek, race-inspired single-seater profile, along with a headlight cowl, rim tapes, and bar-end mirrors. The rear seat cowl can be easily removed whenever required, allowing it to be used as a two-seater when needed.

Dash Variant

The Dash variant now comes with a headlight grille and handguards as standard equipment. It also gets a new Twilight Blue color scheme.

Differences between Apex & Dash Variant

The Apex variant offers a more aggressive and sportier feel compared to the Dash. The Dash variant maintains the standard ergonomic setup.

Key Updates & Changes

Other than the Apex variant, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 gets a revised CEAT 17-inch tyre, which offers an 8% improvement in dry grip, a 17% improvement in wet grip, and a 3% higher void ratio for better water channeling.

Ride modes have also been updated across the range. Newly named Street and Sport modes come with a memory function, replacing Eco and Performance modes.

Both variants benefit from a significant software update that provides more information and ride data. Now, you do not need to keep your smartphone unlocked to mirror Google Maps on the Tripper dash. Keep in mind that this feature is only available for Android devices.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 also offers a 7-year extended warranty program. In addition, buyers get an extra 4 years or 40,000 km of warranty over the standard coverage, along with roadside assistance.

What Remains the Same?

Engine & Power Figure

Mechanically, the 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 remains the same as the previous version. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Sherpa engine, producing 40 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It uses telescopic front forks and a linkage-type monoshock at the rear.

Dimensions, Weight & Hardware Details

It has a seat height of 780 mm, a kerb weight of 185 kg, and a fuel tank capacity of 11 litres. Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 270 mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.

All variants get the same 4-inch circular TFT Tripper Dash as the previous model, with Google Maps-powered navigation and smartphone connectivity. It provides turn-by-turn navigation, USB-C charging, ride data, and connected riding technology.
